Curry will be out at least two more weeks for NBA Warriors

A left shoulder subluxation suffered by Steph Curry on Dec. 14 will keep him out for at least two more weeks, the Warriors announced on Saturday.

After Curry’s shoulder was re-evaluated recently, Golden State provided an injury update on Christmas Eve. The Warriors have lost their last four games without Curry.

In a statement, the Warriors said Curry is making good progress after his re-evaluation, adding that he will be evaluated again in two weeks.

Curry left Golden State’s Dec. 14 loss to the Indiana Pacers with an injury. Over the next two weeks, the Warriors will play six home games against the Charlotte Hornets, Utah Jazz, Portland Trail Blazers, Atlanta Hawks, Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic in addition to their Christmas Day matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies at Chase Center.

A couple days after the injury, Curry told reporters that he had never suffered a shoulder subluxation, and he’s remaining patient while he recovers.

Curry told TNT’s broadcast of the Warriors’ 132-94 loss to the New York Knicks, “This is an interesting one since I haven’t had an injury like this to the shoulder.” “I’m still healing, so I’m not even close to picking up a basketball.”
