Golden State Warriors Secure a 104-89 Victory Over New Orleans Pelicans

The Golden State Warriors continued their strong start to the season with a decisive 104-89 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Led by Buddy Hield’s 21 points, including four three-pointers and three assists, the Warriors showcased impressive teamwork and resilience. Jonathan Kuminga also contributed with 16 points and four rebounds, while Brandin Podziemski nearly recorded a triple-double, adding 13 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists.

Golden State’s defense held firm, limiting the Pelicans to 89 points. Despite a strong effort from New Orleans’ Jordan Hawkins, who scored 23 points, and Jose Alvarado, who added 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists, the Pelicans couldn’t break through the Warriors’ balanced attack.

With this victory, the Warriors improved to a 4-1 record, building momentum for the season. Meanwhile, the Pelicans dropped to 2-3 as they work to find consistency in their lineup.

Golden State’s blend of defensive intensity and scoring depth looks promising as they set their sights on maintaining a top spot in the Western Conference.
