The Warriors end their five-game losing streak with a 47-point performance from Curry

The Golden State Warriors snapped a five-game losing streak on Monday night with a 116-113 win over the Sacramento Kings behind a season-high 47 points from Stephen Curry.

Steve Kerr said Steph’s performance was breathtaking. “He’s one of the greatest players of all time. He played well on so many nights… this even seemed like something special for him.”

The Warriors were led by Andrew Wiggins’ 25 points and Klay Thompson’s 16 points before Curry’s two free throws with 1.3 seconds left sealed the victory.

He also contributed eight rebounds, six assists, and 11 points. After 37 seconds, Green threw down a dunk to extend Golden State’s lead to three points.

On the final possession, Kevin Huerter missed a 3-point attempt that would have tied the game for Sacramento (3-6). De’Aaron Fox had 28 points and six assists for Sacramento (3-6).

Malik Monk scored 24 points off the bench, grabbed six rebounds, and handed out four assists. Besides 19 points and 14 rebounds, Domantas Sabonis also contributed six assists.
